Results from the Captain's Prize

The Captain's prize outing was played in beautiful sunshine at the marvelous Cork Golf Club. The course was in outstanding condition but the ever present wind made the conditions challenging for most. The outright winner was Don Walsh, winning for the second time this season, with an outstanding score of 44 points. A wonderful evening was had by all in the clubhouse where a delicious meal was hosted by the Captain for all the participating members and guests. The turnout on the day was exceptional with a total of 65 golfers participating, including two visitors. The leading visitor was the sponsor Mr Ger O'Mahony of IBS.
